This article provides you with the guidelines and steps required to upgrade the integration of Decisiv to CDK from version UJ040 to UJ050B of CDK.
Setup is done through the Decisiv platform after the dealer location has upgraded their CDK application to UJ050.
New dealer locations should be automatically set up with the latest version of CDK application.
NOTE: Only users with manager permissions can make the changes needed to upgrade CDK to UJ050B in Decisiv (i.e, Service Manager, Parts Manager, or General Manager).
Prerequisites
Before you upgrade a dealer's CDK in Decisiv to version UJ050B, make sure to meet the following prerequisites.
- The dealer's location is already set up on Decisiv and the CDK application.
- The dealer's location is already integrated in Decisiv with CDK UJ040.
- Testing was completed and confirmed to be working on Decisiv and the CDK application.
- Confirmation was received to upgrade the dealer location's current version of CDK application from UJ040 to UJ050B.
- Dealer Confirmation Checklist with feature preferences for the upgrade to UJ050B was completed by the dealer location.

Actions Required to Enable Each Feature
To upgrade a dealer's CDK in Decisiv to version UJ050B, you need to perform specific actions to enable each new feature available in the new version of CDK.
This table tells you what action is required to enable each CDK UJ050B feature in Decisiv.

Setup Instructions for CDK UJ050B
To upgrade the Decisiv integration to use CDK UJ050B and enable the new features in Decisiv:
1. Open your location from the Portal.
2. From the menu bar, click Admin.
3. From the Administrative Tools list, select Customize Your Database, then Location Information, then the External Features tab.
NOTE: Do not modify your DMS ID/CDK Activation ID
4. Verify the DMS Name is set to CDK.
5. Update your Interface Login to: TruckAccess

Update your Interface Password to: YY2AIyZ*mVrs

To enable the features listed above, the following endpoints need to be set - NOTE: These endpoints have already been added into your portal - Select the endpoints from the drop-down in the following order, matching the naming convention in place for each endpoint below:
- UJ050 - Part Pricing Interface URL
NOTE: The Part Pricing Interface API Key will remain as: api_key
UJ050 - Part Search Interface URL
- UJ050 - Repair Order Export Interface URL
- UJ050 - Customer Sync URL
For Customer Add, locate the Customer Sync Behavior drop-down and select Only Sync when DMS ID is not Provided.
- UJ050 - Customer Search URL
- UJ050 - Customer Credit Status URL
8. Leave the Timestamp Export Interface URL as is.
9. Leave the Interface Timeout as is.
10. Leave the Telogis ID as is.
11. Leave the Repair Order Link Template as is.
12. Click SAVE EXTERNAL INTERFACES
13. Click the External Features tab again.
14. Select "Manage Endpoints."
15. Delete any OLD endpoints (These will be old CDK UJ040 integration endpoints that DO NOT say UJ050.)
