Relating Operations

You can connect operations by relating them on the Operation Details page. 

1. From the Operations page, click Customize Operations on the left. 
2. Click Related Operations. 
   
   
3. Enter your search term in the field (default populated with the word “Filter”) for your first operation. 
   
   
4. On the same row as your selected Operation, click the Relate Operations link.
   
   
5. In the search field on the Operation Details page, enter the search term for the operation you want to relate.
   NOTE: If your search results list is long, you may need to use the arrow buttons at the bottom right to navigate forward or back on the list. You may also adjust your number of search results viewing on each page by clicking the Show entries dropdown on the top right.  
6. Click the checkbox next to your selected Operation Name.
   
7. Click RELATE/UNRELATE at the top of the list. 
   
8. A popup modal will appear asking you to confirm your actions. Click OK.
   NOTE: To see the operations you have just related, you can click SHOW ONLY RELATED at the top of the list. 

To relate additional operations: 

1. Enter the operation search term in the search field (default populated with the word Filter).
   NOTE: To relate all of the operations that return in your search list, click SELECT VISIBLE. This adds a check mark in every box that is shown in your search result list so that they are all selected. 
2. Click the checkbox next to the Operation Name.
3. Click RELATE/UNRELATE. A popup modal will appear asking you to confirm your actions. 
4. Click OK. 
5. To see a list of the operations you related, click SHOW ONLY RELATED.

Unrelate Operations
You can unrelate any operations that no longer need to be related. 

1. From the Operations page, click Customize Operations on the left. 
2. Click Related Operations. 
3. Enter your search term in the field (default populated with the word FIlter) for the operation you would like to unrelate, or you can search for any operation that it is related to. 
4. Click the Relate Operations button link in the same row as your selected Operation. 
5. On the Operation Details page, click SHOW ONLY RELATED. The currently related operations will show in the list. 
6. Click the checkbox next to the operation you want to unrelate.
   NOTE: To unrelate all of the operations in your search list, click SELECT VISIBLE. This adds a check mark in every box that is shown in your search result list and selects them all. 
7. Click RELATE/UNRELATE. A popup modal will appear asking you to confirm your actions. 
8. Click OK. A popup modal will appear confirming that your operations are now unrelated. 

To confirm the currently related operations, click SHOW ONLY RELATED. The ones you unrelated should no longer appear on this list.
