USE CASE
Builder offers the ability to add a source opcode to an operation created by the OEM or Service Network(s) and shared with your location. So that code will display anytime this operation is added to a case. This is to assist in getting operations added that will be able to export to the business system without error. Previously, the source opcode had to be added manually to OEM and Service Network operations each time the operation(s) were added to an estimate. Now, this can be handled within Builder to reflect on an operation every time automatically.
STEPS TO COMPLETE WITHIN BUILDER
1. Log in to Builder https://opbuilder.decisivapps.com/ |
|
2. Select the entity which represents the primary service location, i.e. the entity where all of your dealer-defined operations are housed - 9999 for example as shown here.
3. Select "Customize Operations" shown below.
4. Click Customize Source Opcodes
5. OEM or Service Network operations should appear here along with dealer-defined operations. OEM or Service Network operations will reflect whatever entity they are built, and the dealer-defined operations will reflect the primary location's entity id.
Note: If you do NOT see any OEM or Service Network operation entities, try sorting by the Entity Column. If the desired operations are still not displaying please escalate to Decisiv Support and request your location's entity group in Builder be reviewed.
6. Search the OEM or Service operation you'd like to apply your source opcode to - "3-Minute Phillips DOT Multi-Point Back-of-Cab Inspection" for example - and apply the dealer-defined source opcode as needed. Be sure to select the check mark after completing this so your changes are saved.
7. Click OK | |
8. Moving forward, whenever the "3-Minute Phillips DOT Multi-Point Back-of-Cab Inspection" is added to a case, you will see the source opcode displayed on the "Edit Operation" screen and this opcode will export over to your business system. |
