We are thrilled to announce Builder has a new feature to streamline the process of adding an "Additional Charge" to pre-built operation variations, both new and existing ones. This feature ensures that the "Additional Charge" will be included by default when the operation is added to a case. This means no more worries about forgetting to add it manually later. With this update, we have eliminated the need for you to add additional charges manually after adding the operation to a case. We strive to make your experience with operations prebuilt in Builder as seamless as possible.

Adding an Additional Charge that does not exist in the Additional Charge Categories Admin list
* If this category does not exist in the Admin list and/or your DMS, then it may not export to your RO as expected.
Fill in the Category, Description, and Amount fields then click +ADD. * Code is not required
Once you have entered a case, search for, add, and edit the operation variation that has the Additional Charge Category associated with it. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Operation page, and you will see the Additional Charges table with the Additional Charge category that was associated with this operations variation in Builder. When the Category is not found in the Admin list, a warning banner will display, and the Sales Tax will be set to 0.0.
You can still add extra charges from the Edit Operation page just like before. However, now you also have the option to enter a category that is not listed in the Admin section. If you choose to do so, a warning banner will appear and the Sales Tax will be set to 0.0.
If you were to edit the categories that were not found in the Admin list to an existing category, the warning banner would disappear, and the Sales Tax would be set to what is defined in the admin page for that category. |
