For enabled dealers, you can create cases for Pending Assets. This feature adds the needed flexibility to support multiple types of assets where the information of the asset is not available right away or to create cases for assets that still need to be available in the yard to recognize.
To do this, search for the customer and go to the Assets tab in the customer File.
On the asset list, click on Create Case for Pending Asset. The feature will create a new case for the customer, leaving pending the assignation of the asset for when the information is available.
Once the asset information is available, click Select Asset to open the Select Asset popup
where you can search for and find the asset.
Once found, complete the flow on the popup to add the asset to the case.
If the asset does not already exist in the customer’s asset list, you can create it for unregistered fleets and then select it for the case.
We know that the asset information may not be available right away and that finding the Pending Asset Case can be challenging, and that is why we also implemented some visibility improvements to find these cases faster:
