Campaign & Recall and Recommended Operation Notifications
As of March 2024, we have improved the user interface for these operations when opening a new case.
Note: Previously, the Recommended Operations page displayed if any campaign, recalls, or recommended operations were present directly after case creation. This page will no longer be displayed.
Case Creation
Upon proceeding to the Editing Case page, Recommended Operation and Campaign & Recall notifications will show at the top-right corner when applicable.
When it comes to Campaigns and Recalls, a notification will appear only after the system has finished checking whether there are any campaigns or recalls that apply to the asset in question. This notification will continue to appear each time the case is refreshed or accessed until the operations have been added either to this case or another.
If you do not click the X to close the Recommended Operations notification, it will disappear on its own. However, the notification will continue to display each time the case is refreshed or accessed until the operations have been added to this or another case.
Each message will have a VIEW button, which opens the corresponding modal.
The Recommended Operations modal will list the following types of operations, if applicable for your location, customer, and asset involved:
- Fault Follow-Up Operations
- Scheduled Maintenance
- Service Provider Recommendations
- Fleet Recommendations
- Deferred Operations
You can easily ADD operations individually or ADD ALL of each type to the case using the ADD ALL buttons.
Additionally, you will also be able to view operations which have been related to a recommended operation by clicking the SHOW RELATED OPERATIONS button.
Once the Case is Open
In addition to the notification at the top right of the page, Campaigns & Recalls & Recommended Operations are from the Left Navigation bar under the RECOMMENDED section. Each active link will display a count of operations that have not yet been added to your case.
* When only one or neither is applicable, the respective link/s will be disabled.
For locations that are part of our new operations table pilot, you will have two additional places where you can access these operations
- At the bottom of the Editing Case page above the Operations table
- In the empty state of the New Operations table
When only one or neither is applicable, the respective button/s will be disabled.
